The gutter company will start this Wednesday (3/26) on Rochelle with gutter repair and replacements.  They will proceed through the community in the same order we had the roofs replaced last year.

The gate entrance process for the fire department and emergency vehicles has been repaired. It will not be necessary to give them a 4-digit code. The temporary code of 2929 has been removed. They can open the gate by activating their radio.

Great Roofing's gutter vendor is now available to start on repairs/upgrades to gutters in Jefferson Village.  If you decided to upgrade your gutters to 6" gutters, please email Ryan to confirm.  There was an error in the previously sent email address, so even if you emailed him prior to this, you need to email him again to make sure he has you on his list for 6" gutters.  Several individuals who said they wanted them, have not notified him.  Please confirm your wish to have 6" gutters by emailing Ryan Lephart at RyanL@greatroofing.com.

Dear Jefferson Village neighbors,

Thanks to your generosity, Jefferson Village had another great Thanksgiving food drive in support of Gahanna Residents in Need (GRIN).  GRIN was extremely appreciative to receive the food items and checks.  I am excited to report that 60% of Jefferson Village households participated in the food drive.  Together, we were able to donate 165 pounds of food (69 more pounds than donated in 2023) and $923 in checks ($37 less than donated in 2023).

The following neighbors gave to this year’s effort:
Kathy and Ralph Ballenger, Bruce Beck, Cynthia and Tony Bumbico, Janice Collette, Rosie Doughty, Julie and Doug Frazier, Jill and Carl Goldhart, Diann and Larry Gordon, Linda and David Hyland, Donna Jones, Judith and George Kallal, Norma and Murray Katcher, Carol and Mark Kotler, Haiping Liu and Qianyi Yang, Sandy Lutz, Annette and Steve Paine, Bonnie and Bill Rudner, Robin and Michael Say, Judy and David Schwartz, Karen and A.C. Strip, Sandy and Fred Summer, Marilyn and Marvin Thomas, Karen and Joe Walters, and Evelyn Weiner.

I understand that several Jefferson Village neighbors continue their support of GRIN not just through the Jefferson Village annual Thanksgiving food drive, but also independently throughout the year.    Thank you for your support of GRIN!

Currently the Clik-to-Enter box is not working. This is the device emergency vehicles use to enter. A new one should be here on 1-2 weeks. In the meantime, if a resident needs to call the emergency squad, give them the code 2929, or your personal code.

Blast Email RE Grass Seed: The Landscape Committee would like to inform the community that we can acquire a grass seed mix that matches our current grass. If enough residents are interested, the Committee can have this seed mix available to residents, at no charge, if you wish to fill in bare spots left this Fall.
In order to judge interest please contact Sandra Lutz or Donna Jones  www.sandra.lutz.11@gmail.com or (614) 604-6556 or Donna Jones www.djgj62@yahoo.com (614) 570-6963.

We would not recommend that you attempt to grow new grass until the weather cools down and we begin to get rain.

Roofing update:
Once the roofs are replaced, a crew will be out to do the gutter repairs.  A few individuals have expressed interest in replacing their entire 5-inch gutters with 6-inch ones.  Most homes are only getting small amounts of gutters replaced.  However, if you are interested in replacing all of your gutters with 6-inch gutters, it can be done with you paying the difference from the amount of insurance money provided to repair your gutters to the cost of full replacement.

There will be gutter workers here this weekend and into next week measuring the gutters on every home in the community.  We will have a house by house cost within a couple of weeks.  If you are interested in replacing your gutters, this would probably be the most cost effective time to do so.  You will be advised once we have the quotes.
